Skin/Beauty Therapist – Dunfermline
Part time - 20 hours per week (with potential for extra hours)
Salary - £14,040 - £15,080 depending on experience

Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Skin/Beauty Therapist with experience in delivering exceptional hands-on skincare treatments. This role is perfect for someone who values patient care and has a strong foundation in facials, advanced skin treatments, and holistic wellness.
Qualifications & Industry Standards
With the beauty industry moving towards greater regulation and professional standards, our client seeks candidates who hold or are working towards recognised Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQ) in Beauty Therapy:
* Minimum Requirement: SVQ in Beauty Therapy at SCQF Level 5 – The fundamental qualification for beauty therapists in Scotland.
* Preferred Qualification: SVQ in Beauty Therapy at SCQF Level 6 – Incorporating advanced skills such as body massage and facial electrical treatments.
Our client strongly supports professional development and encourages their team to continuously expand their expertise in aesthetics.
PVG - A Disclosure check/ PVG Scheme membership is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Facials & Advanced Skin Treatments – Perform results-driven facials, skin peels, and other non-invasive therapies.
* Patient Consultations & Skincare Recommendations – Assess skin conditions and create tailored treatment plans.
* Collaboration with Aesthetic Practitioners – Work closely with injectors to offer a holistic approach to skincare and beauty.
* Aftercare & Education – Guide patients on at-home skincare routines for long-term results.
* Hygiene & Compliance – Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and follow best practices in skincare treatments.
