As a National Investigation officer, you will support the CQC (Care Quality Commission) National Investigators and Representation Inspectors to undertake tasks essential to the delivery of high-quality criminal and civil investigations. You will mitigate risk to people who use services and to CQC by assisting the Investigation Team and Representation team to respond promptly and progress criminal and civil cases in a timely way. You will actively engage with all parts of the CQC, internal and external stakeholders, that contribute to the delivery of efficient and timely investigations. What you will bring… Educated to A Level or equivalent, you’ll have knowledge or background awareness of the legal environment and an understanding of the criminal justice process, along with knowledge of PACE (Police and Criminal Evidence) Codes. With excellent communication skills, proven experience in evidence reviews or case file preparation, you will facilitate the smooth and timely progression of criminal and civil cases by supporting the National Enforcement Team. You will be CPIA trained or willing to undertake this training.
