We're looking for a General Manager to join us at our Liverpool portfolio in an exciting role caring for and looking after a diverse range of special places in the Liverpool City Region; Speke Hall, the childhood homes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and the Hardmans' House and collection.
Looking after urban places and removing barriers to nature, beauty and history is a core part of the National Trust's strategy, and Liverpool will be key to our delivery of these ambitions. You'll look for opportunities to extend our impact and delivery at a city-wide scale, as well as for our members and visitors at the places we look after.
Your contractual place of work will be at Speke Hall. You should expect to be at a property in your portfolio for 80% of your working week. This role will involve some weekend working (roughly 1 in 4) as well as occasional evenings, you can take the time back in lieu.

What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations, you'll work alongside a wider leadership community across the Northwest region.
