Long Term Futures is on the lookout for a committed and flexible SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming all-through SEN school in Moseley, Birmingham. The school supports a diverse range of learning needs and offers a nurturing, inclusive space for students from early years through to post-16. This is a full-time role where you'll be offering 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils engage with learning and develop key life skills. Every day will be different, but your impact will always be meaningful What You'll Be Doing: Supporting students with a range of learning needs, adapting to their individual requirements Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and structured activities Helping students develop social skills, independence, and confidence Implementing behaviour management strategies to create a calm and positive learning environment Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure pupils get the best possible support What We're Looking For: Experience working with children with SEN, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning needs A patient, positive, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners Strong communication and behaviour management skills Ability to build relationships and tailor support to individual needs Team Teach training is desirable but, not essential Why Work with Long Term Futures?
