Job Description
* Preparing and reviewing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, whilst completing Tax returns.
* You will also lead on small/medium-sized assignments and assist on large assignments.
* Provide guidance and leadership to junior staff.
* You'll be an important point of contact for your clients and for more junior members of the team.
* Ensure all financial operations comply with legal regulations and company policies.
* You'll be accountable for a portfolio of clients/jobs, managing yourself and others whilst also being actively involved in the business development for the Weymouth office.
* Monitor departmental performance and propose improvements.
* Lead by example, promoting a positive work culture.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Manager should have:
* A strong academic background in Accounting, ACA or ACCA Qualified.
* At least 2/3 years post-qualified practice experience.
* Exceptional leadership abilities and people management skills.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality accounting and finance services.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
