We are currently recruiting for a brand new and very key role of Sales Director - This S enior L eadership position involves? developing and executing business plans ?to expand market presence, increase revenue, and strengthen relationships. The Role As the Sales Director, your responsibilities will include: Driving the company's sales performance and achieving/exceeding annual sales and margin targets. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve targets and grow the customer base. M anaging relationships with key accounts and larger customers to foster long-term partnerships. Collaborating with customers to gain insight into their business needs and objectives. Identifying new growth opportunities within existing accounts and exploring new markets alongside the senior leadership team. Recruiting, leading, managing, training, and developing a high-performing sales team as the department grows. Monitoring sales performance, tracking progress against revenue targets, and providing detailed reports and updates through CRM systems and update calls. Working closely with the Operations Director to ensure sales commitments are aligned with operational capabilities. Representing the sales function in senior leadership and board meetings, delivering updates on performance and strategy. T he Ideal Candidate : Essential experience: Operational-level expertise within the FMCG Personal Care industry. Demonstrated success in securing, managing, and growing accounts within the Retail and/or Distribution channels. Established network and strong relationships within the FMCG Personal Care sector. Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of developing and mentoring high-performing teams, with a focus on professional growth and learning. Highly analytical with a solid understanding of business strategy and excellent communication skills. Exceptional problem-solving abilities combined with a deep knowledge of product requirements and market dynamics. Adept in financial and technical analysis to effectively model sales opportunities and ensure cost-effective product delivery.
