HR Administrator
V-Recruit are currently recruiting 1 x Temporary Administrator, in the Barnsley area, to work within the HR Department of an industry leading Industrial & Construction company, starting as soon as possible.
This is a full-time role, initially for a 6-month FTC, although this is likely to be extended.
Duties to include:
You will be working within the HR Helpdesk department, doing basic HR Administration, such as;
* Responding and managing tickets in the HR Helpdesk, including sick notes, return to works etc.
* Recording and updating appropriate trackers
* Updating the people management system
* Sending off for reference checks
* Processing new starter documents/reference checks, and saving to employee files
* Responding to emails from employees
* Bulk admin requests
* Assisting the department to process a backlog of paperwork, and ensuring that the documents are stored digitally, adhering to the Data Protection regulations and GDPR.
* Ensuring all matters are dealt with confidentially.
Job Specifics
* This is a fulltime role, working on average 7.5 hours per day – some flexibility with start and finish times – but generally Monday to Thursday, 9am-5pm, and a short day on Fridays, working 9am-2.30pm) – 36.25 hours per week.
* Potential 2 days per week working from home once trained
* £11.44 per hour, with holiday pay
* Start date likely to be 6th January
The candidate
The chosen candidate will be an experienced Administrator, and a confident communicator, who is self-motivated, reliable, and hardworking. We are looking for someone who has experience in a busy administrative environment, but no specific HR or Recruitment experience is essential. You will need experience with Microsoft Office package, such as Outlook and Word.
