An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Vendor Performance Management to join the Digital Team to gain an improved understanding of the current Digital Architecture and associated cost base including fully understanding the contractual landscape and be able to identify and manage Vendor risks.
Main duties of the job
1. Support the Head of Vendor Performance Manager in the development and implementation of a Digital Vendor management strategy that delivers against the Trust's strategic priorities and translates Digital and business imperatives into effective Digital strategies.
2. Manage the Non-Pay supplier budget, manage/track the forecasted spend, risks on over-spend and service reduction/service consolidation opportunities as a result of effective contract, SRM, asset and Digital demand management.
3. Establish and/or improve where needed, the internal and external policies, standards, and processes for different types of vendor interaction both pre and post contract award in line with procurement legislation.
4. Manage the communication process with vendors (in collaboration with NCA procurement) pre contract, including what information should be communicated internally and externally, when and by whom, to ensure that appropriate leverage is preserved.
5. Keep abreast of industry trends that have an impact on the Digital vendor strategy, through external advisory services, internal teams such as NCA procurement and good working relationships with existing and emerging strategic vendors used by the Trust.
6. Identify service optimisation opportunities across the Trust and share those with the Head of Vendor Performance Management and lead on the delivery of many of those identified initiatives.
