Our client are an award-winning practice for sustainable Architecture and Design, working on housing developments and heritage projects. About you As the successful candidate you will be someone with a strong design background, some experience in RIBA stages 4 & 5, excellent written and spoken English. Ideally a very experienced Part 2, or a recently qualified Part 3. Responsibilities: You'll be involved in a variety of projects across housing developments and heritage sectors, leading and collaborating closely with a diverse team. Your responsibilities will include: ▪ Collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes for both the business and clients ▪ Engaging in project reviews and coordination workshops ▪ Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documents using industry standard software (AutoCAD, Revit) ▪ Conducting site visits and surveys to gather necessary information for project development ▪ Ensuring compliance with building standards, regulations, and codes throughout the design process ▪ Providing technical support and guidance to junior staff members as needed ▪ Staying up to date on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continually enhance design processes and outcomes ▪ Contributing to and assisting in the development of the companies technical expertise Requirements: ▪ Degree in Architecture – RIBA / ARB accredited ▪ Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an Architect in a professional setting ▪ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software ▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams ▪ Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and precision ▪ Proven track record of managing and successfully delivering projects to completion Benefits: ▪ 25 days leave bank holidays birthday off ▪ Enhanced maternity/paternity package ▪ Membership body payments ▪ Pension scheme ▪ Eye care vouchers ▪ Further education and training
