38.5 hours per week on rolling rota of 4 on 4 off

Main Responsibilities of the Night Support Worker:
* Offer advice, information, and support to clients, including referrals for aftercare focused on maintaining an abstinent lifestyle.
* Assist Therapists with risk management plans and reviews.
* Ensure clients follow program rules, supporting the manager in investigating breaches, including substance testing.
* Conduct intakes, assessments, and discharges efficiently.
* Keep accurate client records and maintain databases.
* Facilitate transfers between agencies and services for clients.
* Support clients with medication reminders, conduct audits, and maintain accurate records.
* Work with clients to create recovery plans that are realistic and achievable.
* Help clients attend external appointments in line with their care plans, providing transport support or accompanying them as needed.
* Assist with day-to-day operations, helping clients manage practical aspects of daily living such as life skills, housing, and benefits.
Desirable Criteria:
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Clear verbal and written communication at all levels.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Excellent listening skills.
* Ability to work safely and effectively on your own.
* Strong negotiation and boundary-setting skills.
* Ability to create and review risk management plans.
* Empathy and a non-judgemental, calm approach.
* Capacity to handle high-pressure situations.
* Great customer service skills.
