A unique and exciting fundraising position has risen at Royal Papworth Hospital Charity.
Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a successful fundraising team, where your work will include building and developing fundraising relationships in the community, by providing excellent stewardship in order to increase income and deliver the charity's community fundraising strategy.
The successful candidate will represent the Charity in the community and therefore must be confident in communicating with supporters, have excellent inter-personal skills along with strong communication and presentation skills. You will experience in developing fundraising products and a deep understanding of the value of great stewardship, along with experience in the charity sector.

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is the UK's leading heart and lung hospital, delivering care to more than 50,000 patients a year in its new state-of-the-art hospital in Cambridge. We perform the most heart and/or lung transplants in the UK and carried out the UK's first successful heart transplant in 1979. It also offers emergency heart attack treatment, sleep centre care and is one of just five centres nationally for those in severe respiratory failure.

Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Understanding of Charity and related law
Experience
Significant working experience in the Charity sector
Experience of building strong relationships with individual donors and groups
Experience of working to targets, budgets and deadlines
Experience of cultivating supporters
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Including the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately to stakeholders.
Excellent skills required to build relationships with potential donors.
Demonstrable ability to plan, manage time and prioritise own workload with minimum supervision as well as the ability to work under pressure.
High standard of computer literacy including Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook including experience of working with a donor management database.
Ability to deal with fundraisers' personal information in a sensitive and confidential manner.
Ability and willingness to travel for work and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the third sector and Charity law.
