BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for a Rental Fleet Manager. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.
To ensure the fleet is managed efficiently and that all necessary in-life work is completed within budget and timescale. Turnaround times for vehicles are minimised to ensure they are back and available for Rent.
To successfully procure the Alphabet owned rental fleet ensuring costs are kept within budgets outlined in the rental P&L.
To successfully defleet the Alphabet owned rental fleet ensuring that values and opportunities are maximised.
What awaits you?
* Business owner for the ‘Alphabet Rent Own Fleet’ portfolio of vehicles, responsible for all own-fleet rental in-life management, maintaining roadworthiness, maximising availability.
* Operate and deliver on fleet procurement plans ensuring vehicles are in-fleeted and de-fleeted in a timely manner at minimum cost to the business. Management of this process.
* Lead supplier review meetings, proactively developing services and monitoring Supplier performance.
* Management of the Rental Own Fleet P&L forecast, analysing, reviewing and forecasting current and future portfolio changes to maximise Own Fleet profitability and utilisation rate.
* Liaise with Commercial colleagues to assist with developing specific customer and channel sales plans.
* Working closely with the Rental team and other key stakeholders to maximise the suitability and utilisation of the Own Fleet.
* Managing performance of the Rental Fleet and Logistics Co-Ordinator, providing training and 121s.
What should you bring along?
* Industry experience in Rental Operations desirable.
* Good standard of education that may be evidenced through selection testing.
* Rental experience and modern developments from key market leaders.
* Operational and Customer Service experience, preferably within Fleet Management, Leasing and/or experience with Corporate Mobility.
* People Management skills and experience would be desirable.
