We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual to join our team.
The successful candidate will join the professional team at the busy Woodside Medical Practice and will undertake a variety of Business Administrative duties as part of the practice's non-clinical team. Experience in General Practice would be preferred but not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate. This demanding role requires working well under pressure. Good IT/computer skills are essential for this role.
Main duties of the job
1. Handling telephone enquiries which will include receiving and making telephone calls as required ensuring accuracy and detail are recorded as necessary.
2. Registering patients, including permanent and temporary registrations.
3. Working as part of Front of House / Patient Reception / Patient Relations Team.
4. Document processing and scanning.
5. Filing / retrieval of patient notes.
6. Clinical Coding.
7. Data entry and checking.
8. The above list is not exhaustive, and the successful candidate may be asked to undertake other tasks as appropriate.

Job details
For the right candidate, we are offering:
1. Full time 5 days a week, 1.00pm - 6.00pm including extended access 2 nights a week on a Rota basis.
2. Hourly rate minimum wage based on age.
3. You will be required to contribute to the team's sickness and holiday rota cover being flexible at short notice.
4. You will be subject to completing a six month probationary period.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE in English and Maths.
* Experience of working in a GP Practice.
* Experience in a secretarial setting.
