The Role: As a Customer Account Associate, reporting to the Business Development Manager, you'll immerse yourself in diverse tasks such as handling customer enquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and tracking the status of parts through Work in Progress (WIP). Collaborate closely with directors and various departments including quality, planning, and design to ensure flawless order processing and timely commencement of part manufacture. Your dedication to providing outstanding customer service, managing expectations, and supporting other departments will be paramount. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Efficiently handle customer enquiries and seamlessly coordinate with directors and departments. Create compelling quotes and process orders with precision. Monitor factory progress and update directors/production planning, communicating crucial information to customers. Be the primary point of contact for customers, distributing information to relevant departments. Allocate parts in stock to initiate the despatch process. Keep meticulously organised records of quotes and purchase orders. Requirements: Highly proactive and conscientious, with the flexibility to achieve business targets. Proficient in navigating the Microsoft 365 suite and happy to work with software platforms like SharePoint and D365. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
