Job summary We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic Maternity Support Worker to join our friendly & dedicated team. You will be working within the Maternity Outpatients Department (ANC) and the Antenatal Day Assessment Unit. You will undertake a range of duties in the Maternity Outpatients setting under the supervision of a Registered Midwife. Your working week is essentially Monday- Friday, with some weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive orientation programme and are assured that they will receive appropriate support and training to meet expected competencies. Main duties of the job Maternity support workers (MSWs) are an integral part of the maternity workforce and play an important role in supporting midwives and the wider maternity teams, mothers and their babies through pregnancy, labour and during the postnatal period.
