Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Leader
W.D.M. Limited is an industry leader located in Bristol specialising in comprehensive highways asset management solutions, surveying services and the design, production and operation of multi-function, high technology highway surveying vehicles.
We are currently recruiting for a QHSE leader to work closely with the Quality and Safety Manager overseeing aspects of quality, health and safety, and environment across the company.
The individual needs to be an enthusiastic, proactive team player, able to create and implement processes and solutions.
Job Description
* Lead QHSE management objectives established by the company, ensuring continual improvement and compliance with ISO standards.
* Prepare, conduct and report:
o Internal audits;
o Safety tours;
o Accident/incident and near-miss investigations;
o Risk assessments; and
o Safe systems of work.
* Support the development of the company’s management system.
* Prepare and deliver training programmes for which you have knowledge, skill and competency.
* Undertake a programme of continual professional development to maintain knowledge, skills and competency.
* Facilitate audits from BSi, other certification bodies, customers and other interested parties.
* Provide support to W.D.M. group operations in overseas territories.
Key Skills & Experience
* Qualifications at Level 3 e.g. A-level, BTECH or equivalent.
* NEBOSH Certificate and/or an IOSH qualification.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
* Internal auditing knowledge and skills.
Additional Information
* Role based in offices on the north-east outskirts of Bristol.
* Full time 37.5 hours per week.
* Salary: Competitive (dependent on skills and experience) + benefits.
