Our Kirkcaldy based client are looking for 3 Warehouse Operatives to join their established team for a minimum of 6 months work.
Your key duties will include:
Assembling, fitting and repair of undercarriage systems and general warehousing duties.
Build Track Groups as per customer demand and specification. This is by means of hand tools and mechanical equipment. A level of labour is required due to manual handling of the lower-level parts.
Shorten and lengthen chains as per customer demands and specifications, this is by means of mechanical equipment
Wash and burn used track groups to allow track exchange. This is by use of driving a Loadall, burning torch and high pressure washing.
Warehouse duties, including picking of lower-level parts, stocking of completed jobs and ensuring that workshop/warehouse is kept clean and safe.To be suitable for this busy and challenging role you will ideally have the following skills and experience:
Warehouse experience
Workshop experience in oxyacetylene torch usage is preferred.
Experience of pneumatic hand tools is preferred
Must have a 'can do' attitude .
High level of competency and organisational skills
Counterbalance licence preferred .
Loadall licence preferred .
Abrasive wheels preferred .
Welding and fabrication experience preferred .
Qualified in 'First Aid' would be preferred but not essential. This role will be Monday - Friday working (Apply online only)pm and the hourly rate will be £13.50 ph.
