Overview
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for guiding the sales team and ensuring that sales targets are achieved, generating leads, managing key accounts, and monitoring competitors’ sales activities. Additionally, you will have to build a strong relationship with the clients. In this role you should possess excellent time management skills and the ability to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. You should also have outstanding customer service skills and willingness to travel with the clients as and when required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities will vary from time to time and the employee will be expected to perform other duties that are reasonably comparable adhering to relevant health, safety, and environmental policies always.
* Effectively plan for future personal sales activities based on agreed KPIs and to meet individual sales targets.
* Hold direct line management responsibility for the Sales & Research Executives within the team.
* Responsible of ensuring that the sales mailbox and other channels are monitored and responded to in accordance with the departments KPI’s.
* Manage SLA’s and KPI’s for the Selas and Research Executives.
* Cultivating solid relationships with major customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.
* Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals.
* Ensuring that all sales administration and customer service activities run smoothly.
* Providing overall guidance to newly recruited Sales representatives.
* Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, as well as sales employee performance evaluations.
* Assisting newly recruited or less experienced Sales Representatives in answering technical questions posed by customers.
* Analysing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective.
* Conducting in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
* Responding to inbound enquiries in a professional and knowledgeable manner to secure business for the Coventry Building Society Arena.
* Be the contact point for clients in their absence of your sales representatives.
* Development of relationships by having regular face-to-face meetings with clients at the Coventry Building Society Arena and where appropriate.
* Negotiate with clients in conjunction with the Sales Manager and ensure all documentation, including contracts, are prepared, issued, and returned within the deadlines.
* Be aware of the costs involved in event delivery.
* Report on activities, progress and discuss key issues.
* Maintain records on clients and sales activity.
* Accurate input and recording of communication with clients in our CRM system.
* Ensure customers comply with company terms and conditions of trading – prepare documentation to ensure all contractual details covered off.
* Attend and take on active role in delivering FAM trips.
* Any other duties deemed reasonable for the role.

Relevant Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in sales – Desirable.
* Relevant qualification in Business Administration – Desirable.
