About Us
A life saved, a daring rescuer, a dedicated fundraiser – it’s these stories that inspire others to support the lifesaving work of the RNLI. And we need someone to help us find and look after the people at the centre of them. We’re looking for a Case Study Manager who knows how to spot a good story, how to make a sensitive approach and how to steward and support each individual so that they feel confident to tell sometimes difficult stories.
About You
You’ll have experience as a PR professional, journalist or customer service expert and be able to demonstrate how you’ve used your skills to manage case studies to support an organisation’s communications, marketing or fundraising work. You need to be good with people – knowing how to talk to everyone from a young and enthusiastic lifeguard to a survivor of a traumatic rescue or a bereaved parent. You’ll be diplomatic, sensitive and respectful. You’ll have a good understanding of GDPR and a track record in managing and protecting people’s data. And you’ll know which case study to use for which campaign, but also know when it’s not the right time for an individual to speak up – and support them in that decision.
Your reward will be seeing the RNLI’s reputation go from strength to strength as you help save lives at sea, raise awareness of our lifesaving work and inspire people to support us.
The role is based in Poole, although a hybrid approach of working remotely from home part of the week and being based in the office the rest of the week would be considered, there will be occasional opportunities to travel across the UK.
This post requires a valid driving licence.
