Location - Ashbourne Contract - Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Duration - a minimum of 12 months Salary - Competitive (depending on experience) About the role We are looking for a confident, proactive, and highly organized HR Advisor to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and handle multiple priorities in a growing, fast-paced food environment. You'll play a key role in providing expert HR support across the business, ensuring smooth operations and effective people management. Key Responsibilities Provide immediate, hands-on HR support, offering guidance on policies, procedures, and employment laws, with a solid understanding of HR best practices Work closely with specialist functions such as Talent&Experience and Lerning&Development to deliver on site/area plans Driving delivery of key metrics, such as turnover, absence and retention rates Partner with the site team to ensure all ER cases are resolved in a timely manner (including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management) Support HR Business Partner in the delivery of absence KPI’s by maintaining accurate records and documentation ensure all HR Systems are maintained and kept up to date with accurate information, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality Support customer and ethical audits are in order to achieve the highest score.? Pro-actively support Health and Safety initiatives across the site and within the HR department including Go For Zero campaigns, awareness and compliance? Work with Operational business partners to develop solutions for gaps in establishment figures Advocate and champion Diversity within the site Participate in HR project work offering feedback to make improvements.?
