Children Looked After Team
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people?
Middlesbrough Borough Council are currently looking for a social worker to join their Children Looked After Team, the post is a full time position with a minimum of 3 months
Requirements
1. A relevant qualification in social work, social care, or a related field (e.g., Diploma in Social Work, BA in Social Care).
2. Proven experience in working with looked after children, care leavers, or adoption services.
3. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies surrounding looked after children and permanence.
4. Strong assessment and care planning skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
6. Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding workload, while maintaining attention to detail.
7. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and work effectively under pressure.
8. Proficiency in using relevant IT systems and software for recording and reporting purposes.
