Job summary WORCESTER ROYAL HOSPITAL COUNTYWIDE CARDIAC ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST NURSE BAND 6 FULL TIME - 37.5 HRS PER WK PERMANENT An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative enthusiastic individual to enhance the nurse led countywide Cardiac Assessment specialist team. The position would suit someone with previous sound cardiac knowledge with band 6 experience. The successful candidate will be working with an already established team of CNSs who organise, run and outcome the Chest Pain Review Clinic (CPRC) (referrals taken from the acute sector at Worcester Royal Hospital) and Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic Countywide. Once trained the successful candidate will also participate in the DC cardioversion service and work alongside a multi-professional team in the Worcestershire Heart Centre providing same day emergency care to cardiac patients The post offers the opportunity to develop formal health assessment skills, you would also be required to work with and support the Lead CNS and to assist in mandatory or other audits.
