Responsibilities:
* Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction and engineering projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
* Bid Preparation: Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals for new projects.
* Project Analysis: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand requirements and scope.
* Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure cost-effective solutions.
* Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project needs.
* Reporting: Provide detailed reports and documentation to support project planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or engineering industry.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
* Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
