Role purpose: As an Interim Transformation Manager, you will spearhead the delivery of top-notch consultancy services for transformation and change initiatives within the CFLL Directorate, supporting Surrey County Council's strategic objectives. This position involves providing expert operational and technical support for transformational programmes and projects. The role requires analyzing existing services and developing innovative solutions to enhance service quality and meet customer needs. Your work will be crucial in service and organisational design, process reviews, workshop planning and delivery, as well as project scoping and business case development. What you will do: Analysis, Reporting & Documentation: Identify trends, issues, and opportunities to ensure relevant action is taken within your area of responsibility. Service Delivery: Evaluate current service provisions and propose innovative solutions that maximize quality, efficiency, and continuity. Utilise your specialist knowledge and judgment to make informed decisions that elevate service standards and meet customer needs. Drive change and implement new ways of working to provide high-quality services and value for money. Planning & Organising: Develop operational plans and contribute to strategic, long-term planning. Finance/Resource Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively within your department to ensure targets and objectives are met cost-effectively. Assist in budget and resource planning efforts. Advanced problem-solving skills and expertise in software systems. Proven experience in leading and coaching teams. DBS clearance is required, along with willingness to travel for stakeholder meetings.
