Job Description
Assist teachers in promoting achievement and raising the standards of pupil attainment. Provide general support related to the needs of the class and individual care, health, wellbeing, and safety to ensure a secure environment.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and organization.
This position supports individuals with complex needs requiring intimate care. The successful candidate should possess qualities such as patience, perseverance, and creativity to meet the needs of young people under their care.
Working pattern: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 am to 3 pm (5.5 hours per day).

Contract: Fixed term until 30 September 2025.

Requirements
This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent three or more continuous months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
The position requires at least one reference, which must be from your current or most recent employer.
