Field Sales Representative – Independent Retail & Cash & Carry
Our client is seeking a results-driven Field Sales Representative to expand their brand presence across independent retailers and cash & carry outlets. This role focuses on driving sales, increasing product distribution, and executing promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory Management: Build strong relationships with independent retail and cash & carry accounts, including convenience stores and specialty off-licenses. Conduct regular visits to promote products and drive sales.
Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets. Utilize a consultative approach to understand customer needs, activate displays, and maximize promotions.
Brand Activation: Showcase and promote products through tastings, presentations, and in-store activations. Educate retailers on key product benefits to enhance brand awareness and sales.
Customer Relationships: Establish strong connections with store owners and staff, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Market Insights: Gather and report market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to help shape sales and marketing strategies.
Sales Reporting & Collaboration: Maintain accurate sales records using CRM tools and collaborate with marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
Candidate Profile:
Experience in field sales or business development, ideally within the drinks or FMCG sector.
Strong knowledge of independent retail and cash & carry operations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
