The A Side: A Day in The Life The Visual Media & Podcast Manager is responsible for booking, leading, coordinating, and supporting TV and podcast promotional opportunities across Universal UK’s rich and diverse artist roster. The role will be not only covering traditional TV but also facets of digital visual media and podcasts. They will work closely with the rest of the Media Division across al promotional formats and be supported by social media managers as well as a coordinator and assistant. Successful applicants will run consistent TV, online broadcast and podcast promotion strategies. This includes managing promo schedules, artists diaries and must have an appetite to discover and execute new broadcast opportunities. This role must effectively interface with all areas within the media team as well as marketing, finance, digital and streaming departments. The job requires successful applicants to be flexible and capable of independently supporting a variety of projects but also needs to be able to work efficiently within a team. The B Side: Skills & Experience Be Operational Working in conjunction with the Head of Visual Media & Podcasts formulating TV, podcast and digital visual strategies for all artists and label Plugging and negotiating to secure performances, interviews and general promotion Developing and maintaining strong relationships with TV, podcast and digital personnel at all levels. Network, network, network Liaising and maintaining a strong relationship with artists, management and associated teams. To constantly liaise with the Head of Visual Media & Podcasts on all ideas, feedback, activity, results etc Be Organised Attending internal and external meetings and updating the label or external partners on up-to-date visual media and podcast strategies. Managing promo budgets alongside the Head of Visual Media & Podcasts Responsible for inviting and hosting media/guests to concerts, gigs, showcases and events Organising all stages of promotion from booking, scheduling and covering in a logical and efficient fashion General ad-hoc duties as required by Head of Visual Media & Podcasts Co-ordinating all booked media opportunities with Artist teams and internal digital teams to ensure social media coverage of each piece of promo is optimised.
