We're looking for a strong-minded and hands-on Production Manager with a deep understanding of textile finishing and/or wet processing to lead a team of 30.
The ideal person would be a natural leader who is confident, decisive and able to integrate smoothly into an established team.

About the role
1. Oversee and manage daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality and on-time delivery.
2. Lead, mentor and motivate the team with a positive and productive work culture.
3. Optimise wet processing and textile finishing techniques to maintain high standards, prevent defects and minimize waste.
4. Implement and enforce health & safety regulations across the production floor.
5. Champion Continuous Improvement activities (CI) and foster an environment of employee engagement, empowerment and teamwork in relation to CI and lean manufacturing.
6. Monitor and evaluate worker performance providing constructive feedback and corrective actions as needed.
7. Collaborate with QC and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
8. Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
9. Make sure the production area is clean, organized and compliant with H&S.
About you
1. You'll have at least 5 years of experience within production manufacturing, and 3 years in a supervisory role is essential.
2. It's essential that you have a strong working background in textiles.
3. Very strong leadership and team management abilities, to inspire and drive performance.
4. Good knowledge of safety regulations, quality control procedures and inventory management.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
6. A natural people's person - approachable, communicative and able to build strong relationships at all levels.
7. Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
8. You'll be happy getting involved to a hands-on level if required.
9. A strong character, able to question current thinking and brainstorm solutions.
