We have an exciting opportunity within an Accountancy practice for an Bookkeeper, to be based in their Bury St Edmunds office. The Role: • Supporting Bury Office client managers with bookkeeping tasks. • Managing a small, growing portfolio based on knowledge and experience. • Ensuring all monthly and quarterly bookkeeping work is maintained to a high standard. • Communicating with clients weaknesses in their books and suggesting improvements. • Supporting and Training junior staff. • Preparing VAT returns for client manager review. The Applicant: • Experienced in bookkeeping, ideally within practice. • Comfortable with all bookkeeping software including but not exclusively – QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, DEXT. • Organised and methodical. • Professional and strong communication skills. • Able to build and maintain excellent client relationships. • Must be highly enthusiastic and self-motivated, can work as part of a team or independently.
