A wonderful four-day nanny/housekeeper position has become available in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. You will be looking after three happy and active children – two girls aged seven and five and their little brother aged three. They are looking for a kind and fun nanny/housekeeper, who can become part of their family and support the children through primary school. Although the parents occasionally work from home, this is a sole charge position.
The children attend school and nursery locally. Although the family employ a weekly cleaner, they are looking for someone who can help support the running of a busy household.
The hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 07.00-19.00 (48 hours/week). There could be some ad hoc additional hours in the school holidays, but these would be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating indoor fun (fun games, reading, jigsaws, arts and crafts, singing songs, imaginary play, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park, trips to the farm in the school holidays, etc. The children have regular clubs which the nanny would take them to and support them in their learning.
As well as general care of the children, you will cook healthy and nutritious family meals each day. The family has a weekly cleaner, but any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – keeping on top of the family laundry, keeping the children’s areas tidy and organised, emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms are tidy at the end of the day, running the occasional errand, etc.
You will need to be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. There is fully insured car to use on duty.
