About the role
We have an amazing opportunity to become our Data Analyst, reporting into the Governance and Assurance Manager within our Assets Programme Management Office (PMO). We see this role as essential to realising our National Leader ambitions and we’re looking for a motivated Data Analyst professional to join us.
Reporting into the Governance and Assurance Manager, the individual will act as the Data Analyst within Northumbrian Water’s Assets PMO, ensuring that the data submitted is accurate, consistent across NWL reporting tools, and effectively utilised to support decision-making and project delivery.
About you
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has personal values that align with our organisational core values. You will have a passion for data and continually look for efficiencies and opportunities for improvement. We’re looking for you to have data analysis and information management experience to support senior level decision making, as well as the confidence to draw conclusions from large data sets, ideally within a performance reporting function in a project, programme or PMO environment.
You will also have great people skills and have a ‘can do’ attitude with a keen eye to detail to analyse data sets of projects and programmes. You will have a proven track record of using PowerBI reporting tools to inform decision-making and project tools to ensure delivery to time, cost, and quality. You will also have first-hand experience in data transformation, manipulation, and visualisation to effectively communicate findings to a varied audience.
You will be able to provide timely and accurate data to meet reporting requirements as required as part of regular reporting or support any ad-hoc requests. You will be proficient in Microsoft packages, including MS SharePoint, Word, Excel, and tools used for supporting successful delivery of projects and programmes.
