THE ROLE This is a brand new role for a bright and capable Finance Assistant to join our growing Finance function. Reporting to (and supported by) our Financial Controller, you will be an integral part of the growing finance team, taking on responsibility for various areas of the day-to-day finance function and learning at pace. This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career in Finance, still learning the basics, and looking to join an exciting, fast growing, and dynamic business. You will be working across accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash & banking and more, including: Managing the finance email inbox Reconciling bank transactions on a daily basis Entering supplier invoices into the accounting system, and sending for appropriate internal approvals Making timely invoice payments in the weekly payment run, and responding to supplier queries Collecting and processing staff expense receipts Raising and sending customer invoices Sending weekly customer statements, responding to customer queries, and liaising with the Retail team to collect late payments Ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date Support the Financial Controller & Financial Director with month end, year end audit process and any other ad hoc reporting Who You Are To truly thrive at Ancient Brave you will need to embody the spirit of our brand and align with our company culture.
