We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a warm one form entry school in Kingston Upon Thames.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a welcoming and supportive school who will ensure that you have a positive experience.
They are seeking someone to take on full class responsibility from January 2025 - September 2025.
Most of the planning is already in place as you will be taking over from a long standing staff member.
PPA time and support will be allocated so that you can adjust planning where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Reception curriculum.
* Track and monitor student progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.
* Foster a positive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour effectively.
* Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and the community to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a UK primary school, ideally with Reception.
* Strong understanding and knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire confidence and motivation in students.
* Passionate about promoting a nurturing, supportive environment for children’s learning and growth.
* Available full-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
