Account Director
Overview:
To be responsible for the MICE market, within a designated territory, to stimulate business into the hotel and contribute to achieve the hotels budgeted group rooms and banqueting revenues. Managing your sales process in the Sales department including developing and helping to manage the Group Sales Coordinator and Executive.
The Role:
* Proactive sales through face to face appointments driving leads
* Attendance at key events, tradeshows, showcases, to drive awareness of the property and leads
* Developing and maintaining close relationships with local convention bureau and tourist board offices
* Creating both awareness and develop loyalty through familiarisation trips, site visits and presentations
* Building relationships and liaise with Accor Global Sales representatives within your key market
* Attending Sales missions and Exhibitions as required, in particular in the UK & European markets. Travel will be required.
