About the Role: Pioneer People are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Support Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing educational setting in Bromsgrove. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with small groups of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to support their learning, with a particular focus on phonics development and achieving their individual learning goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with SEN, focusing on phonics and literacy development.
- Support children with a variety of learning challenges in a small group or individual setting.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons tailored to individual learning needs and goals.
- Work alongside teachers to track and monitor progress, adapting support strategies to ensure the children's needs are met.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages children's confidence and independence.
- Help children build communication skills and social-emotional development.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and encouraging atmosphere where children feel motivated to engage with their learning.
Person Specification:
- Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the learning community.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
