My customer is looking for an IT Support Engineer to support users at 6 offices within a 10-mile radius of each other.
The IT Support Engineer is required to travel and support 6 sites in Preston with any issues up to 2nd line support. The Engineer should have experience with Account Management (Office 365, AD), Deployment, and any end-user issues in the Microsoft space.
The IT Support Engineer would spend the morning at the main site and then travel to one of the five sites every afternoon. This role requires you to work on-site five days a week for the duration of the contract.
IT Support Engineer - Technical Skills / Experience Required:
* Prior experience within an IT Support 1st/2nd Line role
* Prior experience as a field/independent Engineer
* Windows 10/11 – Administration and Support
* Microsoft EUC Stack
* Microsoft 365 – Administration and Support
* Account Management - AD & Office 365
* Deployment and setting up new devices
* Password reset and basic Network troubleshooting
* Monitoring estate and asset management
* Exposure to iPad and Mac would be beneficial
* Experience working in the educational industry
* If successful, you are required to pass an Enhanced DBS check
