Chef de Partie
The Emory
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie to join the opening abc kitchens team at The Emory.
As a Chef de Partie you will assist Sous Chefs in the preparation and service of food ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times, as well as making sure that the designated kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required by the hotel.
You will already have worked in a busy restaurant environment within a similar role, must have at least 1 year of experience within a 5* property, 3aa Rosette or Michelin Star restaurant.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
* Be fully conversant with all Restaurant, Bar and Surrenne menus with regard to the particular items relating to your designated area and other kitchen areas as directed.
* Being responsible for the production of food within your designated section.
* Ensuring that food preparation is of the highest standard at all times.
* Ensure that maximum effort is given to achieve an efficient service whilst maintaining the highest possible standards.
* Ensure that all recipes of any new dishes are immediately recorded and submitted to Sous Chef and support any tests which may be necessary to achieve accurate costing and final presentation definition.
* Follow abc kitchens and The Emory standards of service and delivery, maintaining budget goals, LQA and Forbes standards.
