Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team and drive the growth of our Health and Safety and HR team within commercial sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, a deep understanding of the challenges faced by businesses in maintaining workplace safety and compliance, and the ability to offer tailored solutions that meet client needs. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify potential clients, build strong relationships, and close deals with businesses across various industries. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation and Prospecting: Research and identify potential commercial clients in need of health and safety and HR services (e.g., risk assessments, safety training, compliance audits, HR outsourcing). Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events. Qualify leads by understanding client pain points, business challenges, and health and safety needs. Client Consultation and Needs Assessment: Engage with potential clients to understand their specific health, safety, and HR challenges, including compliance with industry regulations Conduct thorough needs assessments to tailor services that address the clients specific requirements, ensuring comprehensive safety and HR solutions. Build relationships with key decision-makers within organizations (HR Directors, Operations Managers, Safety Officers, etc.). Presenting Solutions: Present customized health and safety and HR service packages to clients, highlighting the benefits and ROI of the services. Clearly explain service offerings such as policies, documents, employee training, risk assessments, compliance audits, and HR support, and how they meet the clients needs. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, product demonstrations, and presentations to close sales. Closing Sales: Negotiate terms and pricing with clients, within set parameters, ensuring alignment with their budgets and business goals. Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, handling objections, and facilitating smooth deal closures. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of contracts, agreements, and necessary documentation. Post-Sales Support and Relationship Management: Provide ongoing support and follow-up after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery. Maintain long-term relationships with clients, seeking opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services. Gather feedback from clients to improve service offerings and resolve any service-related issues promptly. Market Knowledge and Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety regulations, HR trends, and industry best practices to provide clients with current, valuable advice. Monitor competitor activities and report on market trends to stay ahead of industry shifts. Reporting and Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospects, and client interactions Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management on progress toward targets and goals. Key Requirements : Experience: Proven sales experience (3 years) in a B2B environment, preferably in insurance, health and safety, HR services, or related fields. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and HR processes is preferred. Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections effectively.
