They are now expanding their team and seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and large-scale projects within the construction industry. Role Overview: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in our roofing and cladding division, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of cost management for roofing and cladding projects. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed bills of quantities for roofing and cladding projects. Manage procurement processes, including the selection and negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reporting to the management team. Value completed work and prepare progress claims and payment applications. Conduct risk assessments and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or safety. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery within budget. Resolve disputes and variations through effective communication and negotiation with clients and subcontractors. Review contracts and ensure all terms are adhered to during project execution. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the roofing and cladding sector (minimum of 5 years). In-depth knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and construction processes. Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite. Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or working towards accreditation is desirable.
