About The Role We are looking for a Customer Planning Manager to join the team to ensure we have a strong plan to deliver on our brand ambition. You will play a key role in the planning process, governance and prioritisation of activities and be responsible for creating a clear marketing delivery plan for the Customer team. This role collaborates with a broad range of stakeholders, and would be great for a marketeer who is a strong critical thinker with excellent communication, prioritisation and organisational skills. Salary - £53,000 - £85,000. Contract type - This position is a Permanent contract. Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The team aims for around 1-2 days a week in the office to connect and additionally on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings. Location - This role is based at our Bracknell Head Office. Interviews - ideally in person, likely to be week commencing 7th April. Key Responsibilities Supports the Customer Planning Lead on the prioritisation, timely development and holistic management of the Waitrose Customer plan for all parts of the business, ensuring the cross-functional plan translates into more detailed, functional delivery plans. Monitors and updates the plan, ensuring inflight changes are appropriately prioritised, agreed and communicated. To deliver clear critical paths for annual and seasonal planning that meet the timelines of stakeholders across the business. Ensure the planning, prioritisation process allocates appropriate marketing, customer resources to key activities, and that demand for marketing, channels, content & design support is managed. To work collaboratively with the wider customer team and across the business in developing the plan - ensuring that support for customer & business objectives is effectively prioritised and developed on time. To lead the communication of the Customer Communication plan to the wider business. Marketing Governance & Coordination: To provide central coordination in marketing to enable channels to efficiently deliver the Annual Operating Plan. Act in accordance with the Partnership’s purpose and democratic principles, constructively participating in co- ownership, and demonstrating to customers and each other that it is a better way of doing business.
