MEM Northampton is recruiting a Shift Cleanroom Operator based in Milton Keynes to work as part of a team of production operatives. Producing high quality products according to the manufacturing specification and food safety legislation. Operate packaging machines flowraps and multivacs carrying out and recording quality checks Maintaining a safe work environment, by fully complying with legislative requirements and company policies and Procedures. To promote a safety culture within the business ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met Responsibilities Simultaneously run multiple production lines, Flowraps- Multivacs ensuring all lines meet their KPI targets (including wastage and efficiency) and that the team leader is aware if targets are not going to be met. Ensure the smooth production flow of product throughout the process. Differentiate between good quality and sub-standard product. Carry out product changeovers, work as a team and minimise downtime. Maintain a good standard of housekeeping to provide clean, safe working areas at all times. Carry out quality checks and CCPs to procedure and processes. Recording of information on daily shift paperwork. Job Requirements Experience: Running Multivac / Flowrap machines( similar Machinery Thermoformers) Team work : positive participations part of a team Communication:CommunicateclearlywithcolleaguesandmanagementinEnglishand written PC Literacy: Basic use of Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook Problem solving :Report situations/incidents, follow H&S as required, be an active participant in solution process Desirable Level2Food Hygiene Manual Handling Understanding HACCP Shift Work: Work rota days and nights : 5 days per week - for example 2 days day shift/2 days off/3 nights shift/ 12h shift: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6-am Salary : Training £31,236 per annum Full Salary £34,188 per annum Training can take anything between 3 months to 12 months depending on the individual.
