You will be assessing that our supply chain maintain high quality in all areas of practice and will require you to be able to use a range of different approaches including, evidence-based practice, guidelines, legislation, protocols, procedures, policies, standards and systems to ensure the quality. Your responsibilities will include: Understanding and executing external audit functions, assessing risks and compliance needs related to temporary workforce supply into Elysium Healthcare Executing external audits at agency premises Conducting audits of operational processes and ensuring alignment with policies, frameworks and regulations specific to the role of each temporary worker and industry standards Documenting findings clearly, communicate results, complete audit reports and provide actionable recommendations for improvements Monitoring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies across the organisations we audit. Support suppliers with general compliance queries, following audits Collaborating in policy development and ensure documentation is up to date and fit for purpose Conducting risk assessments and perform control testing to mitigate vulnerabilities Investigate compliance breaches, identify root causes, and track the resolution of issues Raise invoices, where required To be successful as a HR Compliance Officer, you'll need: Relevant experience of working in a similar high-compliance environment. Sound knowledge of the relevant legislative and regulatory body requirements (e.g. CQC, HIW, CIW and Ofsted) Ability to routinely travel around England and Wales, which may require overnight stays dependant on location of audit Understanding of Employment Businesses and Employment Agencies Knowledge and understanding of risk management strategies Experience in undertaking external audits Demonstrate communication skills of a high level including written and verbal communication, ability to listen and summarise and presentation skills Basic understating of IR35 Rules Experience of working with stakeholders and demonstrated ability to effectively deliver key messages to these stakeholders and appropriately influence Experience of working autonomously and able to make sound decisions Preferably a full UK driving licence/easy access to public transport What you will get Up to £33,000 per annum, dependant on experience Mandatory training to ensure you are fully able to do your job at the best of your ability.
