Job Title: Bid Manager
Location: Barking, London (Hybrid)
Overview: Concept are delighted to be partnering with a pioneering company who are at the forefront of revolutionising energy efficiency across the UK.
About the role: My client are looking for a dynamic Bid Manager who will take charge of the overall bidding process as they bring the function in house. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities by managing the end-to-end bidding process, from research and evaluation to submission and post-bid analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. The Bid Manager will have ultimate responsibility for collating all the required input(s) to produce compelling bid documents that will realise a step-change improvement in the firm's bidding conversion rate.
2. Be responsible for managing an opportunity from EoI/qualification through to contract award.
3. Gather feedback on past bids to continuously improve future submissions.
4. Chair bid planning meetings and lead bid/no bid decision-making processes.
Requirements:
1. Proven track record in bid management, open on experience but advantageous if it is within the energy efficiency or construction sectors.
2. Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality narrative under tight deadlines.
3. Be able to build strong relationships and influence at all levels, across specialisms and with senior colleagues.
