Assistant Head of Commercial (Hospitality Contract Type 37.5 hrs per week, evening and weekend work will be an ongoing requirement of the role. About the role This newly created position will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Commercial to develop and achieve strategies by developing business plans and overseeing delivery of commercial offers across all of our building Based at the Norwich Playhouse and with an initial focus on the Playhouse Bar, the Assistant Head of Commercial will have line management responsibility for the Duty Bar Manager at the Playhouse and ensuring we deliver an excellent and inspiring customer experience; generating significant income levels, the profits from which support the core charitable activities at the centre of the organisation. About you With demonstrable experience at management level in a large scale, multifaceted hospitality operation, you will have an understanding of current food and drinks trends, together with experience of managing a busy bar operation.
