Role: In this role, you will collaborate closely with the team director and provide support to the project lead. You'll be involved in managing the day-to-day design and drawing production, playing a key role in the technical delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities: Work alongside the team to delegate tasks, ensuring effective communication throughout the process Mentor and guide junior team members, offering technical expertise and support Participate in client and project meetings, contributing valuable insights Assist with site inspections and surveys when required Lead design tasks, applying your technical expertise Ensure high-quality technical design output across all projects Build and maintain positive relationships with external project teams and clients Monitor costs, timelines, and budgets, assisting with fee proposals Produce detailed technical outputs, leveraging design models and expert knowledge Review and validate design models and calculations, contributing to technical specifications and reports Manage drawing production, ensuring adherence to BIM standards Requirements: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferably an accredited Master's degree with ICE/IStructE) or an equivalent Level 6 qualification Chartered or Incorporated status with a relevant professional body, or working towards Chartership Strong post-qualification experience in a similar role Proficient in drawing, modelling, and using relevant design software In-depth technical knowledge of industry standards and legislation Commercially aware, with experience in project management A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry changes Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) They offer an accredited training provider with both ICE and IStructE and offer professional development opportunities, from entry-level to master's degrees in leadership & management, coaching, and mentoring.
