I’m thrilled to share that I’m currently collaborating with a well-established and highly successful engineering business in the Rotherham area. As the company continues to grow and expand, they are seeking a temporary appointment to support their transactional finance department throughout a busy period of increased workload.
They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support their finance function for approximately 6 months, potentially longer. You will be involved in a range of duties, as well as assisting with ad hoc tasks as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:

Process invoices and maintain accurate ledgers (sales and purchase)
*
Assist with reconciliations and bank statement checks
*
Communicate effectively with suppliers and resolve invoice queries
*
Assist occasionally with credit control duties, as and when needed
*
Help with ad-hoc finance tasks as required
Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role
*
Keen attention to detail
*
Effective communication when interacting internally and externally
