Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale D: £10,254 to £10,416 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£24,790 - £25,183 full time/full year equivalent)
Fixed Term: until 31st August 2025
Part Time: hours per week / 3 days (Monday, Tuesday, Friday)

With this success has come an increase in pupil numbers that means we now have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring Teaching Assistant to join our committed and hardworking team at Hewett Academy.
Main purpose of the role:
* To undertake care and learning programmes and activities to support individuals or groups of pupils, including more specialised support for those with special education needs.
* To enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
* Knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of legislation
* Basic understanding of child development and learning
* Ability to evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
