Job Title: Head of People Capability – IM&T

Salary: £63,900 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
* We are seeking a motivated and experienced Head of People Capability to join the IM&T function (Digital, Data and Cyber) at a crucial time
* You will have the unique opportunity to play a pivotal and influential role in a function that holds significant importance to the organisation, and at a time when we are undergoing significant digital transformation, in order to be fit for the future, and enable the business to grow
* You will unlock the potential of our IM&T colleagues, empowering and enabling them to be the best they can be
* You will enhance the capabilities of our people, ensuring they have the right skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to achieve their goals and contribute to the overall success of the organisation
* You will also be responsible for the development, ongoing evolution and execution of the People Capability Strategy, and our Strategic Workforce Plan (SWP)
* You will be responsible for the continued development and execution of the IM&T Early Careers programme
* You will be at the centre of our ambitions, by fostering collaboration across the function
* You will work with colleagues and senior leaders across the Air Sector, in all geographies, mainly UK and KSA, as well as key stakeholders across the enterprise, to shape and deliver our People Capability strategy plan
* You’ll also have people manager responsibilities in this role
Your skills and experiences:
* Experienced in the delivery of key IM&T projects, with a good understanding of the development lifecycle and skills required to ensure effective solution implementation
* Leadership experience including management of suppliers
* Experience of analysing requirements, and advising on scope and options for continual operational improvement
* Creative application of innovative thinking and design practices in identifying solutions that will deliver value for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder
* Proven experience within IM&T development and associated capability/resource management
* Experience of applying a skills framework, for example SFIA, into an organisation

The People and Capability IM&T is a small, yet crucial team who focus on the development of people and capability, across the Air Sector, from the execution of the Early Careers programme to the ongoing People Capability Strategy.
