Previous serving police officers (Investigating Support Officers)
Gwent Police are seeking applications from previous serving police officers and police staff with investigative experience. This is not restricted to former detectives but any former officer with an investigative mindset can apply. You must be either PIP 1 or PIP 2 qualified to be eligible
12-month fixed term contracts as police staff will be offered as investigative support officers to assist the criminal investigative department.
You will provide a range of support on investigations and will be required to work as part of an investigation team, gathering, reviewing and presenting evidence as required specific to the department and investigation to which deployed.
Positions may be available across the force area and we will be able to accommodate both full time and part time hours.
