Summary
With an already impressive roster of customers, we’re growing fast and looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to help us expand our reach. As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for building relationships and closing deals with mid-sized companies in the FS sector looking to integrate AI solutions into their workflows. If you enjoy consultative selling, problem-solving, and working with cutting-edge technology, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle; from outbound prospecting, to qualifying opportunities, delivering amazing product demos, running trials and converting deals
* Working to achieve (and overachieve!) both new business and account growth revenue targets; your focus is to build strong relationships with new prospects and maintain excellent relationships with the existing clients
* Working side by side with our Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to make sure the prospects and customers in your portfolio adopt and grow with Aveni
* Becoming an expert in all things AI for the FS sector
* Travelling (mostly within the UK) - whilst we work remotely, we strive to meet our prospects and customers face-to-face, plus we regularly sponsor and attend industry events
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Strong SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in a startup, scale-up or high-growth SaaS company
* A-player mindset and self-starter mentality – you’re driven, adaptable, and eager to learn
* Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple deals with 6-9 months sales cycle
* A consultative sales approach – ability to uncover customer pain points and position our solutions effectively.
* A sales methodology and process that creates value for customers
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both in-person & online
Desirable Skills:
* Experience selling into Financial Services or other regulated industries.
* Familiarity with MEDDICC and value-based selling
